Born and raised in Miami, Ashley is currently completing her bachelor’s degree at Florida International University while continuing to build a career centered on service and community impact. Previously, she worked at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, supporting visually impaired and blind individuals in regaining independence through adaptive devices and personalized guidance, an experience that strengthened her commitment to meaningful, people‑focused work.

Outside of her professional and academic life, she enjoys exploring Miami’s diverse neighborhoods and hidden gems with her husband. She’s passionate about contributing to the city that shaped her and strives to make a positive difference in the community she calls home!
